How it works
Classic chess for two. Each player has their own time. Checkmate wins, a draw shares the points.
On its own or in an Olympiad
Play Chess on its own under “Minigames” with your own number of rounds, or vote for it in an Olympiad.
Chess is a duel: it only works with exactly 2 players. With more of you, it is greyed out in the list.

- Time control: 3+0 / 3 + 2 s / 5 + 3 s
Under “Minigames” Chess counts its own points. In the Olympiad there are placement points: 1st place gets 30, 2nd 20, 3rd 12, everyone behind 6.
What you set up
- Time control
- 3 + 2 s · 5 + 3 s · 10 + 5 s · 15 + 10 s · No clock (60 s per move) (default: 5 + 3 s)
- Games
- 1 game · 3 games (default: 1 game)
- Colour
- Random · Creator plays white (default: Random)
With the default settings it takes about 11 min.
